Services

Elise is available for a variety of services, including guest preaching, tailored writing projects, and planning
and/or leadership for retreats and other special events.

An experienced supply preacher, Elise loves getting to know different local faith communities. She has
preached at district youth events in both South and North Carolina, as well as at various special and
topical services of worship.

Elise also enjoys the energy and excitement that come with participating in special events. She
understands that retreats, preaching series, and other special events can be pivotal moments in a
person's life. The opportunity to get "out of schedule," to gather in an unfamiliar place or at an unusual
time can create chinks in the protective armour of habit and busy-ness that surrounds us. The Holy Spirit
often uses these chinks to get our attention and transform our lives. Elise has led a variety of multiple-day
special events, including:

Marriage retreats
Community-wide faith renewal events/revivals
Youth retreats
Women's retreats
Church-wide topical retreats

If you are planning an event like one of the above, or if you have a vision for a completely different event,
gracetree ministries may be able to provide you with the leadership and/or planning resources to create
ordered space for an event that makes a lasting difference.

Cost for guest preaching, retreat/special event leadership, and planning assistance varies, depending on
the size and duration of the event and the hosting organization's ability to pay. Typically, travel costs and
lodging need to be covered, and the fees are negotiated based on particulars.
